Administrative Positions

Joby Satterfield


Joby is one of the co-founders of Pinnacle Manufacturing, He obtained a B.S. in Accounting from Coastal Carolina University.  Joby brings over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on the fabrication of portable storage equipment built to not only meet but to exceed customer expectations by ensuring every product they receive is of the highest quality available in today’s market.  He is a NACE Certified Coating Inspector, having passed the Peer Review in May of 2003, as well as passed the NACE Marine Coatings Inspection course.

Joby has worked in multiple aspects of the business including Plant Management, Controller, Sales, VP of Operations, and his current position as President of Pinnacle East and Pinnacle West.  Joby also has experience working in multiple manufacturing facilities across multiple states, as well as lived and worked in Ensenada, Mexico as the Unique Administrator of a portable storage equipment manufacturer.

Joby and his wife Beth were married in 2014.  Together they have 3 boys and reside in Geraldine, AL.

Rich Marvich

VP of Administration

Rich has been an integral member of the Pinnacle team since 2012 initially positioned as our controller, now serving as the VP of Administration. As our VP, he works closely with all departments effectively streamlining organizational goals while promoting profitable targets. 

Rich began his early career as a weapons analyst in the US Army transitioning to the Department of Defense in late 2001. As a contractor, Rich worked mostly overseas supporting military mission objectives. 

Rich and his wife Jenn have been married for 23 years, have one son and reside in Boaz, AL.

Stanley Shipp


Stanley manages the accounting and financial reporting responsibilities for Pinnacle and has over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. 

After graduating from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Stanley began his career in public accounting, emphasizing auditing and corporate and partnership income tax. In addition, he provided management advisory services related to accounting software implementation and staff training. 

In the private sector, Stanley has been employed as a CFO/Controller for both private and publicly traded companies and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Matthew Bliss

Director of Engineering

Matthew joined the Pinnacle team in late 2018 as the Director of Engineering. He brings 15 years of experience in manufacturing with a focus on Engineering, Quality, Lean Manufacturing, and Team Building. Matthew has a B.S. in Engineering and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from GA Tech.

In his tenure, Matthew has lead projects in many areas of manufacturing including lost foam molding, automation, assembly lines, iron foundry, robotics, CNC machining, steel fabrication,  research and development, quality control. He has led the team in the development of ABS Certified Intermodal equipment.

Matthew and his wife Jamie have been married since 2008 and have two little girls. They live in Boaz where they are active in the community and the local school system.

James Christensen

General Manager (Pinnacle West)

James comes to Pinnacle with over 20 years of experience in Fabrication, Construction, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. In addition to a B.S. in Welding Engineering, James is an AWS Certified Welding Inspector, NACE Level II Coatings Inspector and has worked with ASME, API, CWB codes.

James worked with fabrication facilities worldwide during his tenure at FLSmidth as a Supply Chain Manager while managing the procurement and delivery of process equipment for the Mining, Oil and Gas, and Waste Water Treatment Industries.
As the General Manager for a Dollar Tree Stores Distribution Center in Joliet Illinois, James managed a 1.2 million Square Foot facility servicing 600 stores with a focus on quality, employee development, processes improvement and customer service.

Danny Bryant

Plant Manager (Pinnacle East)

Danny has been on board with the Pinnacle team now for 11 years. He has 38+ years of Management experience within the Food, Construction, and Steel Fabrication industries, with a heavy focus on Customer Satisfaction and Company Growth.

His background entails extensive experiences with Plant Start-Ups, Line Flow Creations, SOP Processes/Improvements, Quality Expectations, Purchasing, Employee Growth, and Deadline Achievements.

He was born and raised in the Sand Mountain area of North Alabama. He is currently married to his wife of 19 years, Vanessa. They have 4 grown children, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Chris Suttles

Supply Chain Manager

Chris started working at Pinnacle as a welder in 2012 where he learned all the materials, manufacturing processes, and our product line hands-on.  This experience gave him a unique understanding of the business that allowed him to transition to the role of Supply Chain Manager where he continues with a hands-on approach.  

Chris brings a “can do” attitude to the procurement process doing whatever it takes to keep Pinnacle running smoothly.  Chris works closely with production, engineering, sales, and a host of vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of all the necessary materials that keep Pinnacle operational.  His attention to detail helps streamline all aspects of supply operations, materials management, purchasing, production planning, inventory management, and new product development.

He lives in neighboring Dekalb county with his wife of 15 years, Amy, and their 3 children MacKenna, Mia, and Eli.

Brian Satterfield

Transportation Manager

Brian has almost 35 years in the manufacturing field. Prior to joining Pinnacle Brian had 20 years of experience manufacturing fire hydrants. Brian has been an exceptional member of the Pinnacle team for almost 15 years. He enjoys working with the Logistics side of the industry because he enjoys talking. In the logistics position, he has a lot of phone time.

Brian was born and raised in Marshall County. Brian and his wife Angel have been married for 31 years. Together they have one daughter, two granddaughters, and one grandson.

Sales Team

Tom Denham

VP of Sales

Tommy Denham started in the waste industry in 1994 and has worked in the industry ever since. 
He came to Pinnacle in 2019 with his knowledge of the industry. He lives in Culver, IN with his daughter Sydney. 

Mike Pine

Sales Rep - New Business Development

Mike started in the waste industry 8 years ago as a website content manager for aftermarket and OEM equipment parts. Mike worked his way into the parts division manager role within a year and then into an equipment sales representative role where he served for 4 years.

Mike has been a firefighter for 19 years and it is his passion. He is still very active with the fire department, not only responding to calls, but also working shifts during the evenings and on the weekends when needed.  Mike is also very active in serving his community through fire department community service activities as well.

Mike and his wife have four children two boys, and two girls.  He resides in Rochester, Indiana.

Faisal Khan (FEZ)

Sales Rep - Refurbs & Part Sales (Pinnacle East)

Fez presently serves as a sales representative specializing in equipment refurbishment, after-sale parts & services. During his tenure with Pinnacle Manufacturing, he has served in numerous positions, initially serving as a product designer, fabrication manager, senior inspector, production controller, and logistics manager culminating in a  sales position.

Fez is always committed to exceptional customer service and providing Pinnacle’s customers with consistent, quality products nationwide. His values start and end with making friends in the course of good business and he does it with honesty and integrity. 

JD Cox

Regional Sales Manager

J.D. comes to Pinnacle Manufacturing with 20+ years of experience of Management and Business Development from the Portable Tank and Box Rental industry which serviced the Petrochemical Refinery, Environmental, Pipeline, Municipality, Wastewater, and Oilfield industries throughout the country.

Originally from the Lone Star State of Texas, JD currently resides on the East Coast of Florida.

Roger Deveraux

Sales Rep - Refurbs & Part Sales (Pinnacle West)

Roger joined the pinnacle team in 2021 as Regional Sales Manager West. He brings over 30 years of experience in Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt he earned while working in Japan. Roger has owned a few of his own companies with his kids.

Roger and his wife Mindy have a blended family of 9 children and 20 grandchildren. They live in Farr West, UT
